DealStrand Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective August 28, 2026 · Version 1.0
Effective date: August 28, 2026
This policy is issued by Kerja Group LLC dba DealStrand and explains when you can cancel a DealStrand subscription and when a refund is available. It forms part of the DealStrand Terms of Service.
1. Who processes payments and refunds
DealStrand subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, tax, and refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy (paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) also apply to your purchase. Where this policy and Paddle's policy differ, whichever gives you the greater protection required by law applies.
2. Free trial
- New customers receive a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it.
- You will not be charged during the trial.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically to the paid plan and billing cycle you selected, and your payment method is charged. You will receive a reminder email before the trial ends.
- Cancel at any time during the trial from Settings → Billing in your workspace or through the Paddle customer portal link in your emails. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged.
- Because the trial gives you full, unrestricted evaluation time before any charge, the first payment after a trial is not refundable except as stated in Section 5.
3. Cancelling a paid subscription
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not end your current period.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, the workspace is suspended and your data is retained for 30 days so you can export it or resubscribe, then permanently deleted.
- We do not issue refunds, credits, or pro-rated amounts for the unused part of a monthly or annual period after cancellation.
- Export your data before your period ends. Export tools are in the workspace.
4. Renewals
- Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period.
- Annual subscribers receive a renewal reminder email at least 30 days before the renewal date; monthly subscribers can see their next renewal date at any time in Settings → Billing.
- Renewal charges are not refundable. If you do not want to renew, cancel before the renewal date.
5. When a refund is available
We will refund, in full, in the following situations:
5.1 Statutory withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer (not a business) in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal, you may withdraw within the statutory period (typically 14 days from the first purchase) and receive a full refund, unless you have expressly requested immediate access to the Service and acknowledged that you lose the right to withdraw once the Service has been fully performed. Paddle applies these rights automatically based on your billing location.
5.2 Service defect. If the Service is materially non-functional for you because of a defect on our side, you have reported it to support, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund the current billing period.
5.3 Duplicate or erroneous charges. If you were charged twice for the same subscription, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, we will refund the erroneous charge.
5.4 Material change, discontinuation, or force majeure. If we materially modify the Terms of Service to your detriment, materially reduce the core functionality of your paid plan, discontinue the Service, or a force majeure event lasts more than 60 days, you may terminate and receive a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees for the unused remainder of your term, as described in the Terms of Service.
5.5 Unauthorized use. If a charge was made without your authorization, contact Paddle or us immediately. Confirmed unauthorized charges are refunded.
6. When a refund is not available
Refunds are not provided for:
- Change of mind after the trial has ended or after a renewal.
- Not using the Service, forgetting to cancel, or not reading renewal reminders.
- Partial periods after you cancel (you keep access until the period ends instead).
- Downgrades — the lower price applies from the next renewal.
- AI usage packs or other consumable add-ons once used.
- Charges older than 60 days, unless a statutory right applies.
- Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use rules.
- Third-party costs you incur (your own domain, DNS, email provider, BYOK AI provider, integration platforms).
7. How to request a refund
- Email privacy@dealstrand.com from the email address on the account, or use the Paddle customer portal link in your receipt, within 14 days of the charge you are disputing.
- Include your workspace subdomain, the invoice or order number from your Paddle receipt, and the reason for the request.
- We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- When a refund is issued, access to the workspace ends immediately.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us, where the charge was valid under this policy, may result in immediate suspension of the workspace and permanent closure of the account.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for future purchases. The version in force when you make a purchase or renewal applies to that transaction.
